KINNIE ORANGE DRIZZLE CAKE

Here’s our super-simple Kinnie Orange Drizzle Cake for you to try! It’s best baked in a loaf tin but you can also use a regular tray if you don’t have one.

250g unsalted butter

200g caster sugar
OLIVE OIL
4 eggs
OLIVE OIL
225g self-raising flour, sifted
OLIVE OIL
zest and freshly squeezed juice of 2 oranges
OLIVE OIL
150ml Kinnie
OLIVE OIL
Orange slices to decorate

Directions

  • Oven to 170ºC (fan)
  • Cream butter and sugar and then whisk in the eggs
  • Fold in the flour, zest and 50ml of the Kinnie
  • Bake for 45 minutes
  • Mix the orange juice with the rest of the Kinnie. Pierce the cake all over on one side and drizzle the mixture over it whilst still hot
