3 Pork Cheeks whole and cleaned

1 Carrot chopped

1/2 Onion chopped

1 clove garlic

1/2 a teaspoon each of cloves, cinnamon, ginger, allspice, cardamom and black pepper

1 Kinnie can (330ml) for slow cooker or 2 Kinnie cans (660ml) if in the oven

Olive oil
Directions
- Sear the cheeks in a pan and remove.
- Add the onion, carrot and garlic and cook slightly then add all the spices and coat the vegetables with the spices.
- Deglaze the pan with the Kinnie and add the pork cheeks.
- If using a slow cooker transfer everything to the slow cooker and cook on low for 4 hours or until the cheeks start to fall apart.
- Or place in a casserole dish in the oven on low for 2 hours or until the cheeks start to fall apart.
