Since 1952, Kinnie has been breaking the rules of refreshment. While the world went cola, we chose a different path – bold, bittersweet and unmistakably our own. What began as a local idea quickly became a drink with a passionate, loyal group of fans, and a character, personality and attitude that resonated far beyond its home.
A fresh mix of zesty oranges and botanicals, Kinnie has grown from a Maltese favourite into a global hit – enjoyed everywhere from Australia to Africa, all across Europe, North America and beyond.
Today, the Kinnie range also includes the extra-kick, low calorie Kinnie Zest launched in 2007, the sugar-free Kinnie Zero introduced in 2024 and a growing 4.0% Alc ABV aperitivo range launched in 2021 that’s shaking up the market.

Kinnie Aperitivo
When Kinnie Spritz launched in 2021, it was a statement. Ready-to-drink beverages weren’t yet a mainstream part of Malta's culture, and a pre-mixed local aperitivo was something entirely new. But doing things differently has always been Kinnie's way.
Blending Kinnie's signature bittersweet flavour with Italian sparkling wine, Spritz – a 4.0% Alc ABV aperitivo – was born, and Malta took notice.
Spritz's success spoke for itself and so in 2025, we proudly expanded our low-alcohol range with Kinnie Rumba – the same bold aperitivo spirit, infused with a spiced rum twist.
Together, they mark the beginning of something bigger: a Kinnie Aperitivo range. A brand new way for our tribe to drink different, any time, any occasion.
