KINNIE ORANGE CHICKEN

Here’s a simple one-pot recipe that you can also make vegan by substituting the chicken for tofu.

3 Onions chopped
OLIVE OIL
3 Garlic cloves minced
OLIVE OIL
1kg Chicken breast cubed
OLIVE OIL
3 Peppers chopped
OLIVE OIL
2tbs Marmalade
OLIVE OIL
2tbs Cider vinegar
OLIVE OIL
1ltr Kinnie
OLIVE OIL
Sesame seeds
OLIVE OIL
Spring onions chopped
OLIVE OIL
Basmati rice

Directions

  • Fry the onions and garlic in a pot and then add the peppers.
  • Add the chicken and fry until cooked.
  • Add the marmalade, cider and Kinnie and bring to a boil.
  • Lower to medium heat and cook until reduced.
  • Serve with basmati rice and garnish with spring onion and sesame seeds./li>
